The Pupil Transportation Advisory Commission (PTAC), an independent special commission appointed by the NYC Panel for Educational Policy (PEP), is working to develop policy recommendations to improve school bus service in New York City Public Schools (NYCPS). The two guiding questions driving this work are:
- What step(s) can be taken to improve the transparency and support of bus service for students and parents?
- How can NYCPS best support students riding NYCPS school buses?
