Description: The Division of Students with Disabilities and English Language Learners is hosting a 30-minute informational webinar. This webinar will introduce the process for developing a high quality Individualized Education Program (IEP). The IEP is a legal document that guarantees that a student with a disability has access to the general education curriculum and is provided appropriate learning opportunities, supports and services, accommodations and adaptations as needed to progress in all areas of learning in the least restrictive environment appropriate.

PLEASE NOTE: SETSS is the one service that has a minimum and a maximum mandate. SETSS cannot be recommended for less than 3 hours per week or more than 50% of the student’s entire program. A new IEP date is set only at annual reviews, re-evaluations, and triennials. The date does not change on an amendment or a reconvene.
